So... I spent my morning hanging out in the bitter cold near Sugar Bottom. Just me, my camera, my thoughts and this gorgeous sunrise. So worth it :)

Tybee Island ・ 6/19/13

This past week my sister, nieces and I got to experience the beautiful world of Tybee Island, GA.  It is a little south of Savannah and so beautiful!  We had a bit of a rocky start getting there.  My car was completely drained of transmission fluid about 4 hours into the 17 hour drive [I was unaware of the leak].  Needless to say, we had to get a tow from my brother back home and try again the next day.

We made it to the island late and didn't get to do much the first day besides walk the beach with a little moonlight to see.  It was still very beautiful and so relaxing.  The rest of the time there was like being in a different, carefree world. We went to the beach, several of the small local shops, and the pool at night :).

On the way back to Iowa we stopped at my sister's friend's house to stay the night and got to hang out at this amazing park themed--the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe.

All in all.... GREAT.VACATION!!
